Funcionou perfeitamente no meu Nintendo Wii(o Nintendo Wii normal sem ser o U), depois que você faz o teste de internet ele acende uma luz azul para indicar que está em uso, funcionou sem nenhuma complicação não precisei instalar e nem configurar nada manualmente, é muito bom porque o Nintendo Wii não tem suporte ao USB 3.0 e esse é o USB 2.0 o perfeito para o Wii! Pode comprar sem medo para esse console. Já para o Nintendo Switch provavelmente deve ser melhor um USB 3.0

My WiFi router has been updated to 5G, and my Wii system can’t keep up with the new tech, so I bought this for my Wii to update the software. It works right out of the box and is easy to plug and play. No software is needed. In just about 1 minute, my Wii system is online and downloaded with no issues. Great buy.

These are useful if you want to connect your original Nintendo Wii up to an Ethernet cable.
(It should also work for the Wii U but I don’t think I tested this)
Newer gigabit adapters do not work for these consoles.
With two of these, some homebrew software used to enable them for LAN, and two original GameCubes, we were able to set up 16 player Mario Kart: Double Dash on a LAN.

I bought this to get my Wii on the net. It’s plug and play right out of the box. All that was needed was to put in my password to my modem after the Wii searches for it, and bingo, it’s on. Don’t expect to find the Nintendo game sites, because that’s been shut down for years, but it did get updates from Nintendo right way. The Wii doesn’t recognize newer wireless routers because it can only use 502.11B, or G, which most later model routers don’t broadcast over, but with this baby connected to my Ethernet cable, no problem. No drivers needed.

What is this sorcery? Well as others have pointed out this will make a cheap 3 series TCL TV that doesn’t have an Ethernet port, well have one. It’s not exactly plug and play, but it’s not difficult either. Plug this into the USB port, forget all WiFi networks, reset the network connection, reboot, maybe twice, and there you go connected to wired network. I have lots of USB Ethernet adapters, and yea I tried this before, didn’t do anything, but this one, this one magically works, must be the only chip they support on the USB port. A Fire Stick adapter does not work, no gigabit adapter I have works, Realtek ones don’t work, but this one does, and it works just like the port is built in (mostly), show wired and wireless MACs in the About, supports cloud control, Apple Homekit, all the features of the TCL TV. And it’s a whole lot more stable than the iffy WiFi these TVs come with. it’s a good thing.

Works really good with my Wii. My Wii refuses to connect to my router via wifi so I had to find another way to get it to connect and luckily I found this adapter that plugs into the USB port of my Wii and allows internet access. Decent speed, no drivers needed, easy to use!

I bought two, I use them for mirroring SSBM gameplay from a Wii with Slippi. I recently changed my network setup to use opnsense and some switches, and one of my Wiis was plugged into a Cisco 3560g; it wouldn’t get an IP. The problem was ultimately the switch, newer switches (or ones specifically meant for 100mbps) seem to work fine, from the 5 switches I tested:
Good:
– TP-Link TL-SG105
– Linksys SRW248G4
– The back of my comcast modem/router
Bad:
– Cisco 3560
– The interface on the back of my opnsense box (2010ish supermicro)
It’s possible the Cisco could have worked, I tried a few things in IOS but it’s not my strong suit. I think the issues were speed and duplex. The switches I’m using now are both plugged directly into the Cisco, so the issue is that first negotiation. The issue may have had something to do with the Wii itself, because I had my desktop wired up through one of these and it worked, though, that may not have been on the Cisco switch (and I’m too lazy to go check now…). I guess all this to say If you have an issue, try a different switch, it can even be plugged right into the one that doesn’t work.
I just wanted to share how to get around this issue. Otherwise, they work great.
