Min ragdollhona Hilma borde användas som testare för kattprodukter. “Hilma-säker” borde vara en ny märkningsmetod 😅
Hon kan ta sig ur det mesta, allt ifrån kattburar till lägenheter. Därför är det kanske orättvist när jag skriver att denna sele INTE är rymningssäker. Den sitter jättefint på och fungerar oklanderligt – så länge Hilma vill ha det så.
Min tanke med selen var främst att använda den i bilen. Hilma hatar att åka bil så vår lösning blev sele som knäpps fast i bilbältet. Då känner hon sig inte instängd och kan krypa upp i mitt knä. Samtidigt åker hon säkert och vi slipper ha en stressad katt lös i bilen för att hon har rymt från buren.
Jag tyckte att jag mätte noga, trots att ragdolls är en stor kattras är Hilma ganska liten och väger 4,5 kg. Vi tog en liten storlek, ändå är den på gränsen till att vara för stor runt magen. Huvudet passar perfekt och selen är lätt att ta på och av.
Jag rekommenderar den här selen, med vissa förbehåll. Jag googlade och fann att just den här selen har fått ett högt betyg på flera olika ställen och det kan jag förstå. Tyvärr är den som sagt inte rymningssäker, men det tror jag ingen sele är på katter. Hilma backar lätt ur den, men när hon vill vara duktig låter hon den sitta på och då fungerar den utmärkt!

Easy to pull over the head and clip around torso. This harness doesn’t have a clip at the neck like other Puppia harnesses. This particular harness is great for puppy and small dogs.

The harness is an overall good product for a small dog, but the last one I just received was mislabeled as a S, when it was an XS. I am sure, as I have another of their small one’s. I will be sending it back.

Good harness for my12-lbs. chihuahua mix. She had outgrown previous harness and I had trouble finding a replacement that would fit well enough to enable control on my part without hurting her throat. After six purchases and returns, I found Puppia. Hurrah. I would like to adjust just a tad more for snugger fit but wouldn’t return.

Our 3.5 lb. mini-dachshund puppy got his lower jaw stuck inside the collar (intending to chew his way out?). Then the panicked crying & struggling started. Because the only way off is to pull it over the dog’s head (& his teeth were stuck in the mesh) we were in a pickle. I thought I was going to need help to have someone cut it off him while I tried to hold him still so he didn’t break his little teeth. Fortunately it had enough stretch for me to get it off him…at which point it was difficult to fit around his ears. He is now terrified of it. I don’t blame him. My friend had another style that velcros across the back…that is definitely safer. I wonder if he would take to that? I’m definitely returning this one.

I wanted to keep this but it barely fit my 14 lb Chiweenie. A lot of pressure was needed to pull it on and off his head. I got the Dotty Puppia harness in small instead and hope it’s a keeper. The Dotty harness has a slightly bigger neck and chest strap. Sizing is hit and miss, as I ordered the wrong size Puppia Dotty harness, the small has the 10 inch collar which is perfect. The medium was so big he backed right out of it in seconds.
