I needed a router to provide power over Ethernet (POE) for several devices at the far end of a 5.6 GHz WiFi link. The hEX POE lite proved to be plug-and-play in my application. I have tried to ping the devices from a near-end R-Pi computer. The ping works but the Route Report does not show the data link or the hEX POE. It’s like the connection was through a piece of CAT5 cable to the several devices at the far end. Perfect!
I believe the hEX POE lite does not have either 2.4 or 5.5 GHz WiFi radios.
