Good quality picture and moves easily

We got this to keep an eye on my elderly mother and it has been great. She loves having it knowing that if anything were to happen we could see it and also talk to her. It was pretty easy to set up and I was able to share it with my sister. There are no onerous subscription fees and the camera does a great job of tracking people movement and triggering on people moving. We even have alerts set up if movements happen between certain time periods. If this had been more expensive, I wouldn’t have given it 5 stars because it’s not perfect but for the price, it’s amazing. There are no hubs to buy, no subscriptions and it has a lot of features including the night vision and mapping off what areas of movement trigger alerts. All in all, one of the best finds. It’s not a fully featured emergency system or anything but it really gives my mom, my sister and me some peace of mind.

I got this to keep an eye on my apartment while I am away for extended periods of time. The Lorex app works great; it allows you to operate the pan/tilt with your phone and setup the person detection of the camera. I had to set the sensitivity to maximum, otherwise it would not detect me when I was testing it. The source video is pretty good and the night mode is clear.

Bought one for my pet. I am very happy with it. I am buying 2 or more the living room and entrance door. Very clear image. I love this one since I do not have to connect to the Wi-Fi via wire… Perfect for my needs. Definitely, recommend this camera.

Very unreliable wi-fi, so unless you’re intending to connect via ethernet cable, skip this product. I did get the wi-fi to connect after 5-6 tries. Then found that Live-View failed to load more often than not. I moved the camera, 4ft in the room and had to use another power outlet — at this location the wi-fi failed to complete the set-up process. The router is close by the camera and I have excellent wi-fi signal all over the house. I run loads of devices through it without difficulty. This is simply a lousy product with poor wi-fi hardware/software engineering. Huge waste of time!

If you really want to use these Security camera as security camera – it’s useless because it cannot send email on alarm. There are many other options that can.
