Amazing sound quality and detail of sound. Perfect for music, videos and games. Playing a game I can point my opponent blinking and know he’s down the hall third door on the left behind the couch. Love these guys. Oh and the light weight is nice, I forget I’m even wearing the dang things.

Positives:
+ wooden enclosure (made from Hokkaido cherry, like all the other model from this ATH line)
+ wire splits nicely in a female jack, thus you can use any other extension cable for it
+ like it’s bigger brothers, it’s all about the Highs (but not as much as Grado’s). Best suited for female vocals and instruments.
Negatives:
– the clipping system also has metal which after longer sessions of listening does hurt when taking them off. Fitting is also a hit and miss, but it’s an interesting mechanism
– wire is thin and short, for this price at least
Should this be your first higher end ATH product, they are very revealing. Music recorded badly is next to impossible to listen to. They are also very small (comparing to ther ear clip ones) so don’t expect much bass from it either.

I bought these when they were $109, which makes them my favorite under $150 headphones. Use with portable amplifier at a minimum. They are very delicate, so keep that in mind. The position on your ears make all the difference in the sound you get.

販店に並んでた時から気にはなってましたが、高価なのと、展示品でさえ痛むイヤハンガーに躊躇して中々買えませんでした。
今回、死蔵してた同社のBTレシーバー活性策として購入。
コレらも少し古いものですが、スイッチ配置とイコライザーが効いててもっと活用したいと考えていた。
取り敢えず簡易ポタアンとも言えるPHA50BT(写真2)と組んで使ってみる。保存音源も基本FMだし善し悪しの度は解らないですがいい音には思えます。
それより装着感が「無い」って言うくらい軽くて、耳から落ちてもわからないんじゃ無いかなと言うほど。
加えてハンガーもガッツリ耳たぶを掴むような造形でないので首振っただけで落ちそう・・・
流石にこれだと付属のポーチには入らなかったので、普段はスティック型のPHA05BT(写真1)がお供になりそう。

I now own three of these headphones, plus another similar Audio Technica pair which are no longer available.
As someone who hates in-ear ear buds, I was lucky to find a pair of these years ago and have never used anything else whilst out walking. I have had two pairs for over ten years and, apart from some cosmetic clumsily inflicted damage, and very minor wear-and-tear, they still fit perfectly and sound amazing. I have purchased another pair simply to ensure that, should the worst happen, I will still have a pair in full working order going forward, may be for another ten years!
If you do not like ear buds, and appreciate good sound quality without proper headphones, then these might be for you.

This is some of the best $99 I’ve ever spent on anything. They are very very well made and can survive a little bit of a rough and tumble although I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s just not what these things are built for. They fit to your ear really well and they have a decent sound quality, not quite audio file type material, but they were exactly what I was looking for, the clip to your ear and it is really comfortable, if you don’t do it right they wobble but if you do do it right then they won’t move an inch. The cord comes in two sections and one is straightforward and the other one is curved, one of the lengths is longer than the other so I don’t know if that would be a deal breaker, the cordage that goes to the actual headphone itself, I believe it is the right side, I wish those were equal length, but it doesn’t actually detract from the actual quality. Would it definitely buy again.

見た目は高級感があり、音質も良い。
安いものだとフック部分が取れたり、長時間つけていると痛くなったりするが、これは柔らかく痛くなりづらい。あとコードが絡まらないのがいちばんうれしいかもしれない。

I got these because persona (just kidding) these are high quality exotic headphones that I’ve been meaning to pick up. The build quality is really good, but do note that they fit my ears but I have smaller ears, larger ears might struggle in liking these. The sound is warmer due to the wood backing, additionally these are tuned for highs and mids but lack base since they are clip-ons.
Additionally, don’t expect any noice cancellation or sealing, these have a more open aired tone but suffer in noisy environments as it can’t isolate sound due to how clip ons work.
However when you pair them to an external DAC like the Qudelix 5k, you can use an auto EQ which make these sound amazing, the EQ helps bring back the base while tuning down the sharp highs.
These are very nice exotic headphones that I recommend if you’re looking for something different while still sounding good.

This is extremely confortable. You almost forget that you are using them. The sound is limited and sometimes I prefer the Koss. But after some burning period and eq adjustment they improve performance.

This has to be one of the best earphone i’ve ever tried, the sound is super clear and crispy (is that even the correct term?), the earclip is so comfortable, heck the whole design is stylish af, the only drawback for me is that the left ear cord is too short for my taste but thats down to preference, but overall its a great earphone totally worth the price if u ask me
