This computer has a back-lit keyboard you can customize color for. Occasionally you will deal with a thing about your keyboard just going dark, especially if you are using the audio jack. It isn’t a big problem to fix at all. It drains heat very well, but still buy a fan, because it will get hot. That are the only problems I have had so far, and I am almost a year into purchase. It does upset me that it didn’t come with a disk drive, but that can be added. Also, the sound can be weak when listening without earphones, depending upon your media choice. YouTube is fine, but Disney Plus comes out sucktastic.

The laptop was delivered ahead of time and with the correct spec – just as advertised
It looks amazing and perform even beyond my expectations
The only issue was that windows 10 came without being activated. I contact amazon support team (which opened a chat with the seller reprehensive) and got a working activation key

Snow Bell put bad memory in for the upgrade and it’s BSODing within a couple weeks of getting the laptop. Can’t leave seller feedback for some reason. Customer service was prompt to respond but sending back the laptop to their service center close to the 30-day return window is unacceptable.
Here’s a pro tip for Snow Bell – if you’re going to put aftermarket memory into something, maybe run a 10-minute Windows Memory Diagnostic to check if it works before shipping it out. It’ll save you a lot on full-on returns.

This laptop is absolutely AMAZING. Like new (as described) and lightning fast, with its upgrades. In the photos, you will see a fan under the laptop but, as far as I have used it, it doesn’t really need an external fan on a flat surface. If you’re trying to decide whether to get it, I’d say go for it

So first of all, this computer is clearly a 2021 model, not 2022 as stated in the listing.
Secondly, I had a problem on the initial boot loading windows when the Mediatek WIFI device would not load correctly, subsequently forcing me to continue without an internet connection. (I’m awaiting internet install at my location which forced me to use my phone hotspot for setup. If I had an ethernet connection, I likely would at least been able to boot and update.)
Fortunately, I had my old notebook, so I first downloaded and tried the updated Mediatek drivers from Asus, but alas, no joy as the WIFI device still showed up disabled in Device Manager.
My last ditch effort before calling support was when I found a bios update for this system at Asus. I downloaded the windows based install on my old system, threw it on a USB stick, then transferred to new system and ran it.
Certain joy followed when the machine rebooted and correctly loaded the Mediatek WIFI device!
I then did a Windows system reset, and started over from scratch as I wanted to allow the system to do it prescribed normal load of windows with an internet connection. All was well, the WIFI was discovered, and all went as planned.
So the moral in this case was to do the bios update first prior to loading windows.
I haven’t put the system through its paces yet, but everything else has worked correctly, and it is ready for everyday usage.
It seems to be a fine machine, and I am looking forward to using it as my primary notebook.
I don’t like that the seller found it necessary to misrepresent the model year in the ad, but I don’t expect that it will impact my experience.
Asus include their MyASUS utility which allowed my to easily update the system drivers and register the notebook with ASUS.
All in all, 4 stars out of 5. If I hadn’t been an IT pro, I never would have figured out to do the bios upgrade and it would have set me back considerably, even to the point that I may have had to return it to the manufacturer.
