Everything that was great about the 727 for travel is gone from this version.
It is heavier, bulkier, and the enormous and heavy ‘wall wart’ makes it difficult to plug in to some of the poorly located hotel outlets.
Also there are multiple annoyingly bright lights on it (the screen can be temporarily disabled but comes back on, the bright light on the wall wart can’t be disabled).
Instead of having the huge wall wart they shoudl have just made the actual body slightly thicker.
Used for a week of travel and will be going back to the 727 despite it having slower charging and not as many USB C ports.

I saw this and really wanted one. I saw some reviews that made me hesitate and waited. Then my wife saw this in an advertisement and said get one and try it out. So glad I did. Now I have 3 and my father bought one as well. Great product so far with no issues. I have had my original one for about 2 weeks and I loved it so much I bought a second for me and one for the wife.

If you look at the first picture, that is what I’ve had for many years. I didn’t care. But flipping through the net today I saw this Anker Prime power station. I’ve had Anker power banks before, never a charging station. I went from cluttered, tangled cords to a nice clean look. I charged my 16″ Mac Book from 5% to 87% in about an hour. The charge slows as it gets near completion. It gets a little warm but nothing concerning. As I write this I’ve noticed it’s cooled as the charging is getting closer to being finished. A little more money than I wanted to spend, probably could have found something cheaper that serves the same purpose. But this looks good. D/L’ed the app and it works fine. Not bad, not bad at all. I’m glad I got this, it was long overdue. I’ll just plug my laptop, cell phone, Apple and Garmin watches into it. It’s all I need it for. I’ve seen some comments where people state they cant travel with it, it’s bulky, or the plug adapter is too big. It clearly states in the product description. (Not for travel)

This is a heavier unit so it’s not the best for travel unless you throw it in the suitcase. I have used this on my last two trips and use it mainly to charge all my devices at night. One trip I knew I would be in the same conference room all week so I left it plugged in and did not move which was good since the base is pretty big. Charges all devices and has a display to view the load on the charger. I can charge my laptop, phones(work and personal), iPad mini and Apple Watch at night.

This item is one of those state treats that absolutely lives up to its hype! Anker is the best at what they do, and this device is a beauty. It not looks great, but it works phenomenally well. It manages to charge my MacBook Pro, along with my watch, and iPhone with no slow down at all. It is worth every single penny!

I won’t reiterate all the features this has, there’s a mountain of five star “review of free product” reviews that go into plenty of detail. My honest take is that this is indeed a great charger, but with one downside. If you are buying it for the screen, DON’T. unless you are looking directly downwards at the screen, it is absolutely unreadable. The picture I took at an angle actually makes the display look clearer than it is – it is just a blurry mess irl.
Otherwise it’s a great product, albeit a bit expensive. Charges my laptop, phone, and misc other devices without issue.

A step backwards considering the previous version. The plug/Power supply is MASSIVE… The previous version having less power, less USB-C outputs, and being bigger is still may favorite due to the lack of the massive brick at the end of the line. If the wall plug size doesn’t matter to you, this thing is GREAT though.
