So i share my room with my brother as a result theres a limit to how many outlet space that is available. So in our shared bedroom we both play on our PCs, both run 2 fans per a person, and charge alot of devices. That being said, 3 wall outlets for 10 plus devices is not gonna cut out for us. So we both upgraded and bought two of these outlet protector surge extension thingy majig. I bought one in white color and he bought one in black color. In all honestly, we doing it for when in the future if the fuses short circuit or something happens at least we know we will be safe due to this product! Highly recommended to everyone, even better if you are a college student and you have to share your space with someone else and theres limited outlets!

This anchor power strip is amazingly compact overall, considering the amount of space between each outlet. The whole power strip is also quite flat, giving it a very trim space-saving appearance. The cord itself is wide and flat, and the plug is the flattest I’ve ever seen. You can plug this thing in behind almost any piece of furniture, with it possibly taking less space than the molding you might have on your wall.
The two USB-C and two USB-A ports are all on the end opposite the power cord and switch.. While the power strip states it provides 35 watts of USB power, it turns out that is the TOTAL amount available from all four ports. If only one port (the left-most USB-C) is used, you can indeed get 35 watts (20 volts at 1.75 amps) of PD standard power. If you use both USB-C ports, you’ll get 20 watts out of the left and 15 watts out of the right. Using the USB-A ports will further lower the power across all the ports. The power available for various combinations of ports used is printed on the back of the power strip if you need specifics.
So, the bottom line is that if you need multiple high-power USB outputs, you’ll have to use some of those widely spaced AC outlets this thing also happens to provide!

Good things observed:
– Super flat space-saving flat plug. I didn’t realize it was possible to make one this flat, but Anker apparently can and does!
– wide spacing between the eight AC outlets, with four on each side, and a slight angle on each side.

– high-quality packaging, film scratch protector for the top indicator strip, and they even provide two screws to fit the key-slot mounting holes on the back
Bad things observed:
– only 35 watts of USB power when using a single USB-C port. Otherwise, 35 watts total spread across all the ports
– almost impossible to see (at least with normal lighting) if the “Surge protection” LED is lit. In a darker office environment, that might be nice, but in bright conditions, it’s hard to see if it (or the power indicator LED) is actually lit.
Things of note:
– the power cord is wide and flat. In semi-permanent mounted locations, that form factor might be especially nice for keeping the cords manageable. If you just want to have a spare power strip laying around, it might be a little less flexible than others (although, since it’s handling 1875 watts, the cord has to be pretty substantial in any case.)
– like all typical Anker products, from the moment you open the package, it feels like the company really is invested in making a quality product, and takes pride in delivering it to you.

The angled faces to allow plugs to sit more securely, the spaced sockets, the slim profile, the USB ports – this is a winner all around. As another mentioned, the USB ports are limited to their total power across all the ports, but there is information included and printed on the device itself to explain how that works. It’s not really important to remember, just know that if you want to power something that takes a little more juice normally, you’ll want to plug its own adapter into a socket instead of just using the built-in USB ports. Those are more for low-power devices that don’t take a lot at once.
This is great for home as well as travel, as its slim profile lends itself well to being packed along with all devices needed for an excursion. Highly recommended.

This Anker 12-in-1 Flat Plug Power Strip is great. The power strip has 4 AC plugs, which are angled down so you can fit more of the bigger power plugs that usually take up 2-3 slots of valuable plug space. Additionally, it has 2 USB-C and 2 USB-A ports so you can charge all your phone and tablets without taking up an AC plug slot. Overall, it has 35W max, so it’s great for most home and office use. The power strip also featured a flag plug, which is always great when you have to plug into narrow spaces.
